Das Gerät regelt Spannungsschwankungen und ermöglicht die manuelle oder automatische Einstellung von Stärkensollwerten mit einem sauberen, sinusförmigen Ausgangsstrom im gesamten Einstellungsbereich. Wechselstrom mit hoher Stromstärke wird häufig zur Prüfung von Sicherungen, Kabeln, Terminals und weiteren Anschlüssen eingesetzt, wenn eine Prüfung bei Nennstärke oder -spannung schwierig oder nicht erforderlich ist. Durch eine Verringerung der Spannung kann die Stärke für eine gegebene Leistung erhöht werden, sodass die Prüfungen flexibler durchgeführt werden können. Da die Prüfspannung in der Regel unter 50 V liegt und durch einen Abspann-Trenntransformator vom Netz isoliert wird, ist die Sicherheit gewährleistet. „Zur Prüfung von Sicherungen für die Qualitätssicherung ist häufig eine gegebene Stromstärke mit geringer Abweichung erforderlich“, erläutert Steve Hughes, Managing Director von REO UK. „Bei einer festen Stromversorgung können jedoch Schwankungen bedingt durch Temperatur, Lastregelung und Eingangsspannung auftreten.“ „Wird die Stromstärke zum Ausgleich dieser Schwankungen nicht automatisch angepasst, können langwierige Burn-In-Tests oder Lagerungstests verzögert werden oder müssen vielleicht sogar wiederholt werden. Mit den REOLAB 220-Geräten können Prüflabore diese Probleme vermeiden. Das Produktangebot von REO kann mithilfe eines Potentiometers oder sogar über einen Feldbus mit einem Sollwert oder festen Ausgangswert betrieben werden. Unabhängig von Last- oder Eingangsbedingungen erfolgt die Regelung dann über diese Einstellung .“ REO UK kann entweder nur die Geräte selbst oder ein vollständiges und schlüsselfertiges Paket zur Integration in ein Qualitätssicherungssystem liefern. Mai 2021– Bei der Prüfung von Antriebsumrichtern und Komponenten für E-Fahrzeuge steht die Automobilindustrie vor neuen Herausforderungen. Denn um die Komponenten mit der typischen Leistungsumsetzung zu prüfen, muss im Rahmen eines Fahrzyklus (z.B. NEFZ, Richtlinie 70/220/EWG; Artemis Zyklus) möglichst realitätsnah getestet werden. Die REO AG mit Hauptsitz in Solingen bietet für diesen Bedarf individuelle Prüfsysteme an. Mit den neu entwickelten Prüfanlagen von REO können nun erstmals Fahrzyklen nachgestellt werden, die den strengen gesetzlichen Normen und Richtlinien entsprechen. Zudem können durch individuelle Betriebsprofile eigene, vom Unternehmen definierte Prüfabläufe geschaffen werden. Die Komponenten lassen sich somit auf dem REO-Prüfstand unter verschiedensten realen Bedingungen und Belastungen testen. REO entwickelt die Prüfsysteme für E-Fahrzeuge individuell auf Kundenwünsche zugeschnitten. Hierzu zählt beispielsweise die Umsetzung einer spezifischen Leistungsumsetzung. „Bei unseren REO-Prüfanlagen betrachten wir sowohl die Spannungs- und Stromquelle, wie auch die ohmschen und induktiven Lasten. admin_preview_bg=””] Mit der Einführung der neuen N CNW Baureihen bringt REO die Edge-Winding Technologie weiter in die Großserie. Ab 2021 werden dafür die bisherigen CNW Baureihen sukzessive gegen die neuen N CNW-Modelle ausgetauscht. Im Vergleich zu den Vorgängermodellen können die Filter und Drosseln bis zu 10% kleiner ausfallen. Dies spart nicht nur Platz, sondern schont durch den geringeren Materialeinsatz Ressourcen und senkt das Gesamtgewicht. Dies ist besonders für anspruchsvolle Projekte, wie z.B. die Elektrifizierung der urbanen Mobilität, wo Platz und Gewicht ein wesentliches Kriterium sind, wichtig. Die REO-Komponenten können für diese und auch andere fordernde Einsätze mit hohen Schutzklassen von bis zu IP66 geordert werden. Generell kann der neue Standard jederzeit an kundenspezifische Wünsche oder an höhere Anforderungen, wie z.B. höhere Schock- und Vibrationsanforderungen, angepasst werden. Kleiner, leichter, sicherer – und weniger Leistung? Nicht in dem Fall der neuen N CNW Baureihen. REO hat es geschafft die Leistungsfähigkeit der Drosseln und Filter trotz der Reduktion der Abmessungen und der Masse weiter zu steigern. Die Verlustleistung konnte um bis zu 25% reduziert werden. Ein technischer Fortschritt, der die Betriebskosten signifikant senkt. Neben den Vorteilen der neuen Bauarten verspricht REO schnelle Lieferzeiten. Damit spricht REO im speziellen Hersteller an, die innovative Produkte entwickeln, oder die durch geänderte Rahmenbedingungen geplante Produkte noch im Zeitrahmen mit den leistungsfähigen REO-Produkten ausrüsten wollen. Störungen, Leistungsverluste oder gar der Ausfall ganzer Systeme sind die Folge. Verstärkt wird das Problem bei den immer wieder geforderten kompakten Abmessungen, die keine ausreichende Oberflächen- und damit Kühlgrößen zulassen. Um in allen, auch den widrigsten und anspruchsvollsten Umgebungen dennoch leistungsfähige Komponenten einsetzen zu können, bietet REO ein breites Produktportfolio aus wassergekühlten induktiven und wassergekühlten ohmschen Komponenten an. Die Wasserkühlung ermöglicht bis zu 70% kleinere Bauteile und garantiert bestmögliche Kühlung unabhängig von den Umgebungstemperaturen, hohe Effizienz sowie einen äußerst geräuscharmen Betrieb. Denn auf den Einsatz von zusätzlichen Lüftern kann weitestgehend verzichtet werden. Ein positiver Nebeneffekt: die Gehäuseübertemperatur ist niedrig und kann sogar unter der Umgebungstemperatur liegen. Dies schützt bei Berührung und naheliegende Komponenten erleiden keine Einwirkung durch Abwärme. Wassergekühlte Komponenten von REO eignen sich somit auch für Anwendungen in der Holz- und Textilindustrie oder in explosionsgeschützten Umgebungen. Die Wasserkühlung ermöglicht aber nicht nur eine enorme Kühlleistung und damit ein optimales Temperaturverhalten des Bauteils, sondern fördert darüber hinaus auch die Leistungsfähigkeit und sorgt für eine höhere Lebensdauer der Komponenten.
