Alles Gute zu 30 Jahren REO Kyritz
Wir gratulieren unseren Kolleginnen und Kollegen zum 30. Jahrestag der Gründung der REO-Niederlassung in Kyritz. Mit der Gründung der Niederlassung im Jahr 1991 begann ein neues Kapitel in der Geschichte von REO. In den Gebäuden des ehemaligen EAB´s begann REO Kyritz Ringstellwiderstände zu produzieren. Mit einer Hand voll Mitarbeitern, aber immer mit Herz und einer besonderen Verbindung zum Standort. Heute bildet der Standort in Kyritz mit mehr als 90 Mitarbeitenden einen wichtigen Baustein innerhalb der REO-Familie. Gefertigt werden beispielsweise Komponenten für Windkraftanlagen oder wassergekühlte Widerstände für die E-Mobilität. Der Blick in die Zukunft zeigt sich auch direkt neben dem Hauptgebäude, wo ein eigenes Windrad genügend Energie für die hauseigenen E-Ladesäulen produziert. Jennifer Baatz, Standortleiterin REO Kyritz fasst zusammen: „30 Jahre ist es nun schon her, dass aus einer Idee Wirklichkeit wurde und wir an diesem besonderen Standort die Produktion aufgenommen haben. Wir sind stets mit der Zeit gegangen und haben von der Robotik bis zur Hochkantwicklung wichtige Impulse in der Produktionsqualität setzen können .“ Baatz fügt mich einem Lächeln hinzu: „Nach 30 Jahren haben wir dabei nicht nur unsere Belegschaft auf über 90 Mitarbeitende erweitern können, sondern auch den ein oder anderen Fisch im werkseigenen Teich gewinnen können.“ Wir wünschen REO Kyritz auch für die nächsten 30 Jahre alles Gute!
REO-Wasserkühlungen für mehr Sicherheit und langlebige Produkte
Um eine bestmögliche Kühlung von Elektrokomponenten in allen Einsatzbereichen zu garantieren, ist ein breites Spektrum des induktiven und ohmschen Produktportfolios von REO mit einer geräuscharmen Wasserkühlung ausgestattet. Sowohl Einzelkomponenten wie Drosseln oder Widerstände, als auch komplette Elektroeinheiten wie Schaltschränke können dank der Wasserkühlung auch in kompakter Bauweise betrieben werden, wo eine Luftkühlung schnell an ihre Grenzen kommen würde. Die Wasserkühlung ermöglicht nicht nur ein optimales Temperaturverhalten der Bauteile auch unter Volllast, sondern fördert die Leistungsfähigkeit und erhöht die Lebensdauer der Komponenten. Grundlage dafür ist die REO-typische Verwendung von qualitativ hochwertigen Komponenten auch für kleinste Details, sowie der Einsatz von ausgereiften Produktionsverfahren. Denn REO ist davon überzeugt, dass nur so die Sicherheit, Langlebigkeit und Leistungsfähigkeit gewährleistet werden kann, für die REO international steht. Die Kunden schätzen auch die dabei möglich werdenden hohen Schutzklassenwerte von bis zu IP66. Denn die Kombination aus leistungsfähiger Wasserkühlung und hohen Schutzklassenwerten ermöglichen, dass die REO-Komponenten in kompakter Bauart in widrigsten Umständen und hohen Umgebungstemperaturen sicher, langfristig und mit niedriger Oberflächentemperaturen betrieben werden können. Qualität und Liefertreue bei REO – auch bei hohen Stückzahlen

Elektrobusse mit neuer N CNW Baureihe
Aktuell stellen viele Verkehrsbetriebe ihren gesamten Fuhrpark an Linienbussen vom Dieselantrieb auf Elektroantrieb um. Das Ziel: Mittelfristig sollen alle Busse rein elektrisch fahren. Neben den offensichtlichen Vorteilen eines Elektrobusses, wie die emissionsfreie Fahrt, schätzen die Fahrgäste das angenehmere Fahrverhalten und die deutliche Geräuschreduktion. Mit mehr als 2300 Tassen Kaffee pro Sekunde, sind die Deutschen zwar keine Weltmeister und auch in dieser Disziplin nicht einmal Europameister. Juni 2021 – zum zwölften Mal in Folge honoriert die REO AG drei herausragende schulische Leistungen im Fachbereich Physik mit dem REO Physikus-Preis. Im Rahmen der alljährlichen Abitur-Abschlussfeier wurden die Preisträger am Gymnasium Schwertstraße in Solingen geehrt. „Menschen, die soziales Engagement und Streben nach neuem Wissen in sich vereinen, sind ein Garant für eine gute Zukunft unserer Gesellschaft. Dieser Preis soll ihnen eine Bestätigung für ihre bisherigen Leistungen sein und gleichzeitig ein Ansporn, ihren Weg weiterzugehen .“, sagt Vorstandsmitglied Jasminka Usein und führt an: „Motivation und Wertschätzung für die Leistungen junger Menschen sind gerade vor dem Hintergrund der Corona-Pandemie besonders wichtig. Daher war es uns eine Herzensangelegenheit unseren Beitrag zu leisten und auch in diesem Jahr Schülerinnen und Schüler für die faszinierende Welt der Physik zu begeistern .“ Der REO Physikus-Preis wird zum zwölften Mal an drei Abiturienten des Gymnasiums Schwertstraße in Solingen verliehen. Dieses Jahr wurden für ihre außerordentlichen Errungenschaften im Leistungskurs Physik geehrt: Johannes Schüle, Physikus in Gold Karsten Römling, Physikus in Silber Alexander Wallrodt, Physikus in Bronze Die REO AG setzt sich mit der Verleihung des REO Physikus-Preises für den lokalen Nachwuchs an ihrem Hauptsitz in Solingen ein. Denn auch die REO AG ist als weltweit agierender Hersteller von elektrotechnischen und elektronischen Geräten und Systemen auf Nachwuchs-Fachkräfte angewiesen. Jasminka Usein: „ Wir arbeiten eng mit Universitäten zusammen, ob in Berlin oder Wuppertal. Darüber hinaus sind wir allerdings auch traditionell unterwegs und bilden jedes Jahr mehrere junge Menschen zu Elektroniker: innen für Betriebstechnik bzw. zu Industriekaufleuten aus. Bis heute konnten wir jedem Auszubildenden nach Beendigung der Ausbildung eine feste Anstellung ermöglichen. So bekleiden viele unserer ehemaligen Auszubildenden heute leitende Positionen, sowohl an unserem Hauptsitz in Solingen als auch in unseren anderen Werken in Berlin, Hennigsdorf, Kyritz und Pfarrkirchen. Auch wenn manche nach ihrer abgeschlossenen Ausbildung eine universitäre Laufbahn einschlagen, sind sie bekanntlich nie ganz weg. Bei REO steht ihnen als künftige Nachwuchskräfte für den Bereich Forschung und Entwicklung die Türe immer offen. Ermöglicht wird dies nicht nur durch ausgewählte Isolierstoffe, einer besonderen Drahtisolation und dem Tränkharz, sondern insbesondere durch eine spezielle Silikonbeschichtung. Selbst im dauerhaften Einsatz unter den widrigsten Umweltbedingungen wie beispielsweise in der Wüste, in Küstennähe oder Industriegebieten, sind somit alle Magnetbauteile optimal geschützt.
