Zum elften Mal in Folge verleiht die REO AG den Physikus-Preis für vier außerordentliche Leistungen im Fachbereich Physik. Die Preisträger wurden am Gymnasium Schwertstraße in Solingen im Rahmen der alljährlichen Abitur-Abschlussfeier geehrt.
Der mit einem Preisgeld von insgesamt 2.350 Euro dotierte Physikus-Preis, wird zum elften Mal an Abiturienten des Gymnasiums Schwertstraße in Solingen verliehen. Honoriert werden außerordentliche Errungenschaften im Leistungskurs Physik. “Mit unserem Physikus-Preis begeistern wir junge Menschen für die faszinierende Welt der Physik und leisten einen großen Beitrag für die zukünftige Forscher-Generation“, fasst Vorstandsmitglied Jasminka Usein den Hintergrund des Physikus-Preis zusammen.
Die glücklichen Gewinner des REO Physikus-Preises freuen sich über ein Preisgeld. Der erste Preis ist mit 1.000 Euro, der zweite mit 750 Euro und der dritte mit 300 Euro dotiert. Neben dem Geldpreis erhalten alle vier Preisträger auch eine Urkunde.
Mit der Verleihung des Physikus-Preises setzt sich die REO AG an ihrem Hauptsitz in Solingen für den lokalen Nachwuchs ein. Denn als weltweit agierender Hersteller von elektrotechnischen Bauelementen und elektronischen Geräten ist auch die REO AG auf junge Nachwuchs-Fachkräfte angewiesen und möchte auf diesem Weg das Interesse bei jungen Menschen aus Solingen an der Physik, der Mathematik und den Ingenieur-Wissenschaften aufrecht halten.
Der Preis wird auch im Jahr 2020 wieder am Gymnasiums Schwertstraße in Solingen verliehen.
